Successfully helped defend the Affordable Care Act against Repeal and Replace efforts. Defending the ACA from legislative and administrative attacks is an ongoing effort!
Raised community awareness about single payer healthcare reform, and specifically SB 562, The Healthy California Act, which will guarantee comprehensive healthcare for all Californians. Also an ongoing effort.
Engaged with our community to support comprehensive, affordable healthcare for all.Working with activist groups in our area, we have rallied, protested, called and met with legislators, phone banked, canvassed and had countless conversations with family, friends, neighbors, colleagues, providers and others.
